Jill Orr is an accomplished executive leader with over 20 years of experience driving mission-focused outcomes, building equitable communities, and guiding nonprofits through transformative change. Her strengths include organizational management and optimization, strategic planning and partnerships, program development and evaluation, fundraising, community engagement, and volunteer leadership.

Jill is known for leading high-performing teams, navigating complex challenges, and advancing inclusive, community-centered programs that deliver lasting impact. As an executive director, she has successfully guided several Oregon nonprofit organizations through leadership transitions, including Clackamas Service Center, With LoveOregon, and Willowbrook Arts Camp.

Before relocating to Oregon in 2017, Jill launched her nonprofit career in California and Colorado, where she held leadership roles at the San Diego Museum of Art, the Longmont Museum &Cultural Center, and the Denver Art Museum, overseeing educational programming for all ages and school initiatives for preK–12 audiences. She also served asBoard President of the Museum Education Roundtable (2008–2013), helping expand the reach of the U.S.'s only peer-reviewed museum education journal to a global audience.

Originally from Iowa, Jill earned her bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University and her master’s degree from the University of Denver. She has received multiple awards for innovation and leadership in the nonprofit sector.

Outside of work, Jill is passionate about travel, adventure, and the outdoors. She enjoys cycling, running, hiking, and exploring new cultures. She lives in Portland with her partner, Stan, a professor at Portland State University’s School of Business and Administration.
